Group helps Biggleswade Ladies feel Safer
After the recent spate of robberies from people walking around our town, Biggleswade Community Safety Group has helped members of the Biggleswade Ladies Facebook group obtain a personal alarm at a discounted price. So far over 200 alarms have been purchased and distributed.
The alarms – which are police approved – are one of the loudest available on the market and incorporate a LED light as an extra features to help the holder feel safer.
The initiative has proven so popular that that our group is now working with Biggleswade Town Council to make sure the personal alarms are available to the wider community.
These can be purchased from Town Council for £2.70 each while stocks last.
